The “Right” Way?
I grew up in a Midwestern family that believed, like many families of that era, that a strong work ethic and flawless service were all that was needed for success in life. Growing up in the restaurant business taught me many valuable lessons. I fondly recall my grandfather saying, “you’re only as good as your last meal.” We were taught to constantly better our best. Although forever grateful for that foundation, I came to realize that there is so MUCH MORE to obtaining REWARDING “life success” than just hard work.
This so-called “success formula” served me well…for a while. Oh, I had successes, but no matter how high the peak I attained, I was still left feeling like something was missing and I was still yearning for more in life. And I couldn’t figure out why? Why, when I had done everything “the right way” did I still feel this way? Eventually, this feeling wore me down, and I made some falls along the way, finally hitting my own version of a brick wall.
I wanted to be more in command of my success and happiness and could not get there alone.
There were times when I wondered how I was going to make a car payment or to buy food for the next week. And there were times, seemingly at the pinnacle of my career and life, when I wondered why I felt empty. And no one knew.
There just had to be A BETTER WAY.

Like many, I started searching for a better way. This led me to tools and programs that provided some insight, but did not inspire me to keep moving forward. What I really needed was more individualization and someone to guide me through the process.
Nothing rang true until I went to a conference led by a high end, executive business and personal development coach.
I began to get FIRED UP about my future and made the decision to take a HUGE leap and INVEST IN MYSELF, investing thousands I did not have, in her trainings, on an already overloaded credit card.
And thus began the transformation, and more importantly, a much better way to success that was REWARDING, FULFILLING, and ABUNDANT. Being an educator and servant leader, I developed a deep passion for teaching others what took me decades to learn…A BETTER WAY!
